The Bhutan Qualifications and Professionals Certification Authority (BQPCA) conducted the Staff Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony 2024–2025 on October 10 at the BQPCA Conference Hall to honour and celebrate the outstanding contributions of its employees.
The event was graced by the Director of BQPCA, with two Human Resource Officers from the Ministry of Education and Skills Development as special guests.
The ceremony had a twofold purpose:
-To recognise four employees who were rated Outstanding through the Moderation Exercise; and
-To honour three Best Employees of the Year 2024–2025, based on a staff-wide survey.
A total of seven awardees were presented with a Trashi Khadhar, a framed Certificate of Recognition and a Gho or Kira as a token of appreciation.
The programme began with Tashi Tsigpa prayers for the long life and wellbeing of His Majesty The King and the Great Fourth, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony, the keynote address by the Director, and the presentation of awards.
In his keynote address, the Director emphasised the importance of celebrating excellence, stating that “Let this recognition be the motivation for even greater achievements for all of us. Together, we can achieve more.”
He commended the awardees for their professionalism, integrity and strong sense of responsibility, noting that “This recognition is more than just a certificate, a gho or a kira, or even the high-end tea. It is a sincere expression of our appreciation for your hard work and the positive impact you have made to BQPCA, which ultimately benefits the nation we serve.
”This celebration reflects BQPCA’s culture of excellence, motivation, and accountability, where deserving individuals are acknowledged, recognised, and rewarded for their dedication and impact.
